There were a lot of predictions going in to the 65th Annual Emmy Awards. Besides the obvious question will “Breaking Bad” finally win Best Drama? (Answer: yes!) Even before Neil Patrick Harris kicked off the show, many of us were glued to our televisions, computers, and in my case my iPhone to see if our favorite celebrities were going to make it or break it on the red carpet. Some of the anticipated looks leading up to TV’s big night included pastels, bold hues, floral prints, and black/white – all trends that were just seen during New York Fashion Week. There were a lot of upsets both during the awards ceremony and the red carpet leading up to it’s broadcast (seen by over 30 million viewers around the world). Not paying attention to outside influences I have narrowed down my favorite looks, honorable mentions, and worst dressed women of the evening.
