Style icon Victoria Beckham has ditched her heels for flats per her doctor’s recommendation. Getting inspiration from her transition into flats I got a chance to showcase some of my favorite new styles from DSW at The Shops on Fremont.

Summer is officially over. Lemonades and iced teas are replaced with pumpkin spiced lattes and apple ciders. As much as I love Fall I have to ask “Where has the time gone?” I feel like we were just wearing sun dresses and sandals, instead we’re in our colorful cords and grandpa sweaters with suede booties. Soon we’ll turn around and there will be snow on the ground! Fall is my favorite season so to get into the spirit I will be walking around with my eyes open. I want to see the leaves change color. Before we blink it will be Winter so in between texting, tweeting, and hashtagging let’s all take a minute and welcome one of Chicago’s best seasons. Tailgate at a Bears game, check out a haunted house, and maybe pick up a sweater or two!

Not only has Heidy specialized in women’s wear for over 12 years, she also has an extensive personal styling portfolio including Kelly Clarkson, Leann Rimes, Tim Gunn, Jonathan Adler, and Dr. Oz to name a few.
