I love hearing about designers giving back especially when one of the chosen charities is a local one. Maria Pinto (a favorite designer of Michelle Obama) is doing just that with her recent partnership with YWCA Metropolitan Chicago in the launch of M2057 by Maria Pinto.

While last year’s Met Gala theme Punk: Chaos to Couture gave us a lot to talk about (Kimye anyone?).

I have always loved this quote for a number of reasons. First of all I truly believe that Fashion is like Art in that it is in the eye of the beholder. So as long as you dress for yourself you will always be in fashion, right?
